Project Overview
This new Edgewater park project included a new green space for Chicago’s residents, visitors, and wildlife. Project goals were to create a public greenspace for residents of West Edgewater and beyond to enjoy & to improve sustainability with the addition of mature trees and native plants. The new park also provided a walking path, space for events and community gatherings, open greenspace, landscaping, including rain gardens and native pollinator plantings, pavers, sidewalk seating, including ornamental benches, tables and chairs. The scope included Storm-water utilities, drinking fountains, ornamental lights and fencing.
