ComEd Joliet OCC Arena Upgrade

Project Overview

Burling served as the general contractor for the ComEd OCC Joliet Arena upgrade project. This is a critical facility for ComEd, it’s the hub to their daily operations especially during storm events. This project consisted of an interior renovation upgrade. The space was divided into (6) phases to ensure daily operations were not disturbed. The existing ceiling, electrical, fire suppression and HVAC will be removed and replaced in each phase. New fire suppression, HVAC, electrical, flooring, and ceilings were installed in each phase. All work was completed within an occupied critical facility.
