Project Overview

The Forest Preserves of Cook County Salt Creek Maintenance Office and Garage project consists of a 10,305 SF, all-electric building will be constructed using net zero principles and will include a geothermal heating and cooling system and solar panels. This new construction project includes a 6,113 SF garage with heated floors and a 4,192 SF office building with locker rooms and administrative space for the staff. This project will support the FPD maintenance of the Salt Creek area which includes 46 picnic groves with access to the over 23 miles of paved and unpaved trails, lakes and other natural habitats.
